  6. LiveWire 2.2 was released on April 20th. Since that release a few
  7. relatively important but easy to fix problems were noted by users.
  8. The following changes were made:
  9.  
  10. 1. Expanded flexibility of the file renaming system. Including a single 
  11.    digit after a % command causes the string to be at most that number
  12.    of characters. For example, %2e will insert an extension of at most
  13.    two characters.
  14.  
  15.    The default rename format is now %f.%2e%n
  16.    which will rename a file DMBBS.QWK to DMBBS.QW1, DMBBS.QW2, etc.

  18. 2. Fixed a bug that was causing macros to not save properly in some cases.

  20. 3. RTS/CTS state was not being changed immediately when configuration was 
  21.    exited.
  22.  
  23. 4. Default setting for Zmodem Resume is now "Ask."
  24.  
  25. Only approximately 30 people recieved LiveWire 2.2 without these 
  26. revisions, so I thought it would be a good idea to make these
  27. changes now before LiveWire 2.2 gets into the distribution lines.
